I am the owner of Recovery Now in New York providing psychotherapy, complex case management, community consultation, and self-management skill-building groups. My approach is based on evidenced-based practices (EBP).
I earned a master’s degree in Social Work from Binghamton University and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a field instructor for both postgraduate and undergraduate students at Lehman College.
Currently, I am a social work supervisor and psychotherapist at Courtlandt Avenue Clinic in the South Bronx where I teach students social work praxis in New York City.
I am also a person diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. I have been in recovery since 2008 when I was first hospitalized for long-term care in a state hospital in Binghamton New York where I was an undergraduate student completing my degree in English, Rhetoric, and Critical Theory.
